Returning for its 18th year, our annual Chefs for Gemma benefit is coming up on April 10th! We are thrilled that this year’s guest chef will be talented Chef Alex Kemp of Philadelphia’s My Loup and Libbie Loup Hospitality! We are looking forward to another evening of good food, fun, and friends to support Gemma’s programs for youth and families in our local communities.  

Chefs for Gemma 2026 will be held at Green Valley Country Club in Lafayette Hill from 6-10 PM. The evening will feature a delicious five-course meal with wine pairings designed and presented by Chef Kemp, silent and live auctions with fantastic items, and an inspiring program about the more than 3,000 youth and families Gemma is honored to accompany each year through challenging times. 

Among Chef Kemp’s many accolades, My Loup, which he co-owns with wife and celebrated chef, Amanda Shulman, received a “Recommended” designation from the Michelin Guide in 2025. Additionally, the restaurant was a semifinalist for the James Beard Foundation’s “Best New Restaurant” award in 2024, was named “Restaurant of the Year” by The Philadelphia Inquirer in 2023, included on The New York Times list of “America’s Best Restaurants” and Esquire Magazine’s “50 Best New Restaurants in America” in 2023, and, in 2025, was on the 8th spot on Food and Wine’s “Top 15 Restaurants in America” in 2025.
