Each holiday season, Gemma helps families who participate in our programs to enjoy a special Thanksgiving meal. Many are struggling with food insecurity or financial challenges. This year, we are again collecting “Everything but the Turkey” gift bags to help approximately 200 families! With your help, we will provide them with nonperishable staples and a food store gift card.

Each “Everything but the Turkey” bag should contain the items listed on our printable flyer here.
Please consider supporting the collection in any of the following ways:

Assemble a reusable shopping bag with items from the flyer. Bags should be delivered to Gemma’s Plymouth Meeting location. Please note: deliveries are by appointment only. Please schedule your delivery time by emailing [email protected].

Hold a collection with friends, family, or a community group for items from the flyer.

Shop from our Amazon Wish List. The list will ship items directly to Gemma.

Make a financial donation to support this effort. You can donate by credit card online here. Please indicate “Thanksgiving” in the notes section. Donations can also be made by check payable to Gemma Services and mailed to the attention of the Development Office at Gemma Services, 512 W. Township Line Rd, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
Please deliver all items by Monday, November 10th. This will allow time to distribute the bags to families before Thanksgiving. Every donation, no matter the size, helps Gemma to ensure that families in our local communities enjoy a special holiday meal.
