The Power of Data in Action 

Gemma Services uses a precision analytics-backed tool — that we call our Insight Generator — to give practitioners on-the-ground actionable, real-time data, which allows them to make better decisions that directly improve client outcomes. Learn more in this fact sheet. 

Our precision analytics journey began with an idea and evolved into a pilot project that was supported by The Scattergood Foundation. The Foundation published a white paper on the use of precision analytics in Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facilities, written jointly by Kristen Gay, Ph.D., President and CEO at Gemma Services, and Pete York of BCT Partners.   

There have been several subsequent articles about our project and the process we have undertaken and implemented. Project Evident has highlighted this work both in a case study and in a chapter in their book, Next Generation Evidence: Strategies for More Equitable Social Impact. 

Finally, Gemma partnered with the University of Kentucky’s Center for Innovation in Population Health to research how our Insight Generator tool is being utilized currently. Please see this recently published article detailing their findings.
