Program Updates During the COVID-19 Crisis

7/14/2020 –

At Gemma Services, our primary concern is the health and well-being of the children and families we serve, as well as of our talented and dedicated team. Due to COVID-19 precautions that have been implemented for Pennsylvania, and in alignment with best-practice guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we are adapting the ways in which we provide services and vital support for children, youth, and families. We will provide updates as regularly as possible.

Plymouth Meeting and Rosemont Campuses are currently closed to outside visitors. We continue to serve children and youth in our Residential Treatment Programs.  Family should direct questions to staff members with whom they regularly work, or please call 610-825-4440 for our Plymouth Meeting program or 610-525-5400 for our Rosemont program.

Martin Luther School:
Martin Luther School in Plymouth Meeting is temporarily closed to in-person instruction. Educational programming and support is being provided virtually this summer. If a School family needs assistance accessing outside services or otherwise, please call or text Siobhan Canavan at 484-393-5007 or email [email protected].

Outpatient Mental Health Program:
In person services in Rosemont are temporarily suspended.  Mt. Airy and Southwest Philadelphia (Preheim Center) sites are also closed to all but most essential services. We are providing telephonic and remote support to our clients. All children will continue to receive access to medication management. For any questions or referrals, please call: (215) 880-8823,  215-730-2326, or via email at [email protected].

Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS, formerly known as BHRS) and ABA Services:
These services will be provided telephonically or remotely as much as possible. For questions or referrals, please call (267) 297-5170 or email [email protected].

Prevention Programs:
All In Home Prevention Services (IHPS) and Family Empowerment Center (FEC) programs will continue face to face visits when necessary. In addition, increased telephonic support will be provided.  Any questions can be directed to [email protected].

Foster Family Care:
We continue to provide services for children in our Foster Care program.  When necessary and appropriate, some services may be provided remotely.  Questions or inquiries, please call 610-825-4440, ext 3207 (Plymouth Meeting) or (215) 730-2240 (Prehiem).

Any questions can be directed to [email protected]. We will respond as quickly as possible. Thank you for caring about the children, families, and dedicated team of Gemma Services.
