Many of the youth and families who participate in Gemma’s programs experience food insecurity, especially during the holiday season. This fall, Gemma will once again collect items for “Everything but the Turkey” bags, to provide nonperishable staples for families to enjoy a comforting Thanksgiving meal.  

Will you help us? Each “Everything but the Turkey” bag should contain the items listed on our printable flyer, here. Here are the ways you can support this collection: 

1. Assemble a full bag with items from the flyer above and drop your bag(s) off at our Plymouth Meeting location. Deliveries are by appointment only. Please schedule your delivery time online at https://bit.ly/GemmaGifts or by emailing [email protected].
2. Shop on our Amazon Wish List and have items shipped directly to Gemma. 
3. Bring an item to our upcoming Bingo for Gemma event on October 18th. Tickets and information can be found here. 
4. Make a financial donation to support this effort online here and indicate “Thanksgiving” in the notes section. Donations can also be made by check payable to Gemma Services and mailed to the attention of the Development Office at Gemma Services, 512 W. Township Line Rd, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.

Please deliver all items by Monday, November 8th. This will allow time to distribute the bags to families before Thanksgiving. Every donation, big or small, helps Gemma to ensure that families in our local communities can enjoy a special Thanksgiving meal.
