Chefs for Gemma is the signature event benefitting Gemma Services and programs that make hope shine for kids and families! Chefs 2023 will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at Green Valley Country Club in Lafayette Hill and will feature Philadelphia’s rising star, Amanda Shulman, chef/owner of Her Place Supper Club in Philadelphia.

Chef Shulman was nominated in 2022 for the James Beard Award for Best Emerging Chef. Her Place is a not-restaurant dinner party restaurant that has garnered many accolades since opening. The restaurant was named “Best New Restaurant” by Craig Laban, food critic for the Philadelphia Inquirer, named the top “New Restaurant” in the City in 2022 by Philadelphia magazine, which most recently  named her place #1 on the 50 Best Restaurants in Philadelphia list. Additionally, it was named a “50 Best New Restaurant” in 2022 by Bon Appétit

Chefs 2023 will be a delicious, fun, and inspiring evening. The event will include a cocktail reception, four-course meal designed and introduced by Chef Shulman, an engaging program about the kids and families served by Gemma, and silent and live auctions with fantastic items.
