Students are referred to join the Martin Luther School community by their home school district or charter school as part of the Individual Education Plan (IEP) process. We welcome the opportunity to introduce students and parents/guardians to our community, where we believe in the unlimited potential of each of our students. Our school is designed to empower students in grades K-12 to explore, overcome adversity, and grow - academically, socially, and emotionally. Please review the referral and admissions process described on this page and contact us to learn more!
At Martin Luther School, we will accompany your student through their educational journey. We believe the student is at the center of learning. If your student comes to MLS, they will engage in challenging activities designed to draw out their interests and to explore, discover, and achieve. We will help them develop four key skills: collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking — all vital for them to become life-long learners in our rapidly changing world.
At MLS, your student can participate in a range of athletics and activities, both of which are vital to our community! Middle and high school students have the opportunity to compete in interscholastic sports through our membership in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) and the Penn-Jersey Athletic Association. Elementary students can also get moving and build teamwork by selecting sports as part of our daily Panther Time program. Whether on the field, in the gym, in a classroom, or cheering from the sidelines — there are lots of ways for every student to experience Panther Pride!
We understand that every student brings their own unique strengths and needs—emotionally, behaviorally, and academically. Our team is honored to walk alongside your student, ready to offer the support they deserve as they begin their journey as a valued member of the Panther community.
District and school representatives work with our admissions team to refer a student to MLS.
Our Admissions Committee reviews the student’s referral to confirm eligibility. Parents/guardians are invited to tour MLS and become acquainted with our staff and program. We want you to experience our school first-hand!
After reviewing the application to determine that MLS is the right fit for your student and their unique learning profile, an admission decision will be made and extended to the student and family.
Before finalizing enrollment, our team will address any outstanding questions about our school or a student’s educational experience at MLS.
We are here to accompany parents and educators through every step of the admissions journey! Please review our Admissions and Referral Process and also see these FAQs. With any questions, please contact Jessica Dalton, Admissions Coordinator, at 610-825-4440, x3452 or by email.
